BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Ottawa, Sarah Futterer is currently completing her final stages at the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa and is pursuing a career in commercial and food photography. Prior to pursuing photography full-time, Sarah received her Masters Degree in History with distinction from Carleton University and was a retail buyer in the outdoor industry for over 6 years. Sarah has also been a member of the steering committee for the Ottawa Festival of Photography for the past two seasons. Sarah recently became a parent and is enjoying the excitement in her child’s interaction with the world. Ongoing projects include Family Cookbook, Salad Series, Balancing, ‘Locavore’, and Transformations.
